Abstract This study investigated the production of silicon from bamboo leaves to solve challenge in solar market using Optimization approach. The effect three independent variables of: temperature, time and amount were studied Box Behnken design. best process level observed Benhken Design optimal predicted used produce silica. It was then subjected X-Ray Diffractometer determine most reactive silica silicon. Silicon obtained Diffraction Scanning Electron microscope. concluded that nanosilicon produced which can be as a cell component presently market.
